An Interview with Christopher Paolini Christopher Paolini's love of fantasy and science fiction inspired him to begin writing his debut novel, Eragon, when he graduated from high school at 15. Recently, Eldest, his second book in The Inheritance Trilogy was published to great acclaim. He is hard at work on the third book in Paradise Valley, Montana, where he lives with his family.
