Smallville has had some extremely powerful episodes in its seventh season. By all reports,
Lex Luthor will only occasionally appear in the eighth and last season. The absence of Lex will be a loss, but he
has completed his character arc, from good to absolute evil, and it will be time for the show to focus on Clark Kent
and his transition from super boy to Superman. I just hope that in the last episode he dons his costume and they play
the theme music as he flies off into the sky.
SF on TV in April (all dates subject to change!)
And then just three more Smallville episodes left in Season Seven.
